Rethink the Pen.
Reclaim the Plastic.
We partner with schools, colleges, and organisations across India to collect used pens and channel them into responsible recycling — one pen at a time.
Billions of pens.
No plan for them.
India's education sector alone generates hundreds of millions of spent pens each year. Made from mixed plastics, these pens are rarely recyclable through conventional channels — and almost always end up in landfill or waterways.
RePen India changes that by building the infrastructure for pen collection, processing, and responsible end-of-life management — starting with the institutions that generate the most.
Simple for you.
Meaningful for
everyone.
Sign up in under two minutes. We work with schools, colleges, NGOs, corporates — any organisation that generates used pens.
Set up a collection bin. When it's full, log a pickup request through your dashboard. We handle the logistics.
Your pens are responsibly processed. You receive an impact report showing exactly how much plastic was diverted from landfill.
Built for
institutions
like
yours.
We've designed every part of the RePen experience around the realities of running a school, college, or NGO in India.
We work with small schools collecting 200 pens a month and large campuses with 10,000+. Pickup frequency is tailored to your volume.
Partner institutions receive a RePen Green Partner certificate — shareable with students, parents, and stakeholders as proof of your sustainability commitment.
Your dashboard tracks pens collected, plastic diverted, and CO₂ equivalent — concrete numbers for your annual sustainability report.
Partnering with RePen India is completely free for institutions. We cover logistics costs during our launch phase across Uttar Pradesh.
Join a growing network of institutions building India's first pen recycling supply chain. Early partners shape the program's direction.
What partners say
The process was seamless. Our students now see the pen collection bin every day and it's become a talking point for environmental education.
We collected over 3,000 pens in the first month alone. The dashboard made it easy to report our impact to the management committee.
Finally a practical way to address plastic waste at the source. RePen India filled a gap we've been trying to solve for years.

No minimum. We work with small schools collecting 200 pens a month and large campuses with 10,000+. Pickup frequency is tailored to your volume.
We accept ballpoint pens, gel pens, and marker pens of any brand. We currently do not process fountain pens or ink cartridges, but this is on our roadmap.
We aim to onboard new institutions within 5–7 business days. Our team will contact you after registration to confirm your collection setup and schedule the first pickup.
Yes — completely free during our launch phase. We cover all logistics costs for institutions across Uttar Pradesh. We are transparent about what happens when this changes.
We are currently active in Jaunpur and expanding across Uttar Pradesh. If you're outside this area, register anyway — we're prioritising expansion based on partner demand.
Collected pens are disassembled, sorted by material type, and sent to certified plastic recyclers. The resulting plastic is reprocessed into raw material for manufacturing. We publish an annual transparency report.
